Besides ACC (Asian Carriers Conference) and ITW (International Telecoms week), PTC is an annual conference that has Viettel presence. 2016 is the 38th year that PTC has been held with the theme throughout is Reimagining telecoms. Deeming this premier event as the spring-board for the global telecom industry, over 900 carriers from 80 countries across the world has gathered here to enjoy a three-day platform focused on planning, networking, and discovering what the new year will bring.

Present at this event, both Viettel commercial and technology delegates from Viettel Group and Viettel Telecom have gained the world’s latest telecom industry through workshops covering various fields such as submarine, satellite, spectrum, big data analysis, IOT, Cloud, Fraud, emergent infrastructure,…

Among those, virtual number service is of our most interest which helps stay the decrease in revenue of voice business due to OTT. Besides, there are now trends in which operators cooperate with each other to offer service packages to customers with lower cost and direct route. Owing to this, service to customer is guaranteed and reduce risk of fraud.  For transmission field, the market has been seen to become smaller and smaller with tariff dropping down drastically. With low budget, small operators can now be expected to own part of submarine cable via type of co-investment.

In addition, the event has held space for Viettel to work closely with our strategic and prime partners of around 50 ones doing voice and data business.
