On August 4^th, Viettel Telecom announced the official launch of the vTag smart positioning device. This is the first product applying IoT technology and provided by Viettel to the market in Vietnam to make everyone's life smarter and more convenient.

Using 3-in-1 positioning technology (GPS, Wifi, and LBS), vTag owns outstanding features such as: Automatical movement history saving, motion sensor, safe area setting, SOS alert, intelligent control, etc. which are provided for the purpose of tracing, helping customers manage their assets, pets and personal items.

vTag has a beautiful, compact, and handy design

The device is equipped with Viettel eSIM with an unlimited data package ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted connection. Especially, the same vTag account allows monitoring of many devices and  many different objects, and its advantage is very energy-saving (average battery life is from 7 to 10 days).

Talking about the difference of the product, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tinh, Deputy General Director of Viettel Telecom said, vTag uses GPS satellite positioning technology and mobile waves to help monitor targets anytime and anywhere. Meanwhile, other devices in the market use Bluetooth technology and can only detect when being near a compatible smartphone (distance from 10 to 20m). Hence, the Vtag device can solve the problem of unlimited connectivity when only using mobile signals.
