As of 14th May 2020, Viettel launches a couple of packages named QT1 and QT30 that allow Viettel customers to make voice calls to ASEAN+5 (comprising of 10 countries in Southeast Asia and other five countries as China, Korea, Japan, Australia, and USA.)

With only VND 10,000 (~ 0.42 usd/min), customers will have 20 minutes to make calls to 15 mentioned countries. This is the cheapest rate compared to the previously applied costs for international calls and not too much different from domestic ones, exactly the same as mentioned in the message of the packages “Call internationally- Cheap as locally”. The cost that customers pay for 1 minute is only from VND 500 (~0.02 usd/min).

At this rate, Viettel is the first and only telecommunication operator who provides such low cost outbound voice calls in Vietnam. Stemming from Vietnamese’s customers demand at work as well as in daily life, QT1 and QT30 promise to bring in high stability and quality to customers upon service experience at reasonable costs.
