Viettel to promote service quality on islands

PANO – A delegation of the military-run telecom group Viettel completed a fact-finding trip on Tho Chu and Phu Quoc islands, and Ha Tien, Kien Giang province.
During the trip, they surveyed local people’s demands for Viettel services, 3G-based transceiver stations, optic-fiber cable Internet service, and locations where islanders have not yet received its services.
As scheduled, the group’s Kien Giang branch will provide services covering all islands where people and troops are living and working, improve customer services, and foster cooperation with local armed forces to contribute to firmly safeguarding national sea and islands.
Viettel’s Kien Giang branch will provide 3G network for Tho Chu, Phu Quoc islands, Ha Tien and Kien Giang provinces.
On this occasion, the delegation visited troops of Regiment 152 (Military Zone 9) and Ha Tien Border Guard Post (Kien Giang).
