Customers excited with Viettel's Roaming Service
Currently, services based on 3G platform have become tremendously popular, stimulating interaction between users and machines (IoT), eBook services, online music and videos. It reflects great demand to use high-speed Internet. The data revolution has been booming with the appearance of 4G technology - a brilliant combination of Telecommunications and Information Technology, which maximizes the satisfaction of customers. 4G will be the perfect choice over 3G technology due to its great speed (7-10 times faster than 3G) which can meet customers’ desires for large data consumption.
Foreseeing that trend, in June, besides boosting the 4G service deployment on a large scale, Viettel has begun to provide 4G Data Roaming service for customers traveling abroad. Especially, this service has received excellent feedbacks from customers.

Most customers were very satisfied with not only the quality of the service being remarkably good while the price had remained unchanged compared to 3G services but also the customer services of Viettel. “Thanks to Viettel’s Roaming 4G service that I was able to solve my work quickly and smoothly” – a customer shared.
In particular, to help customers control their consumption when roaming, Viettel provides quota management features which help customers minimize the generation of unwanted charges. Additionally, Viettel Roaming application (http://roaming.vn/app) is also a great tool to update the charges incurred and manage their consumption conveniently.
Under the plan, Viettel will continue to expand the 4G Roaming service deployment to multiple destinations in the world.
Also in June, during the 2016 UEFA European Championship, Viettel launched a promotion for Roaming Callback utility (Proactively connects calls to Vietnam when using Roaming service oversea) which was provided from 2014 to help customers save 60% on call charges when calling to Vietnam compared to normal roaming charges. Following that, customers using the utility have received an additional 5% service charges, so they were saving up to 65% of the total cost when making a call back to the home country.

One of Viettel’s customer said that he was completely surprised that the calling rates to Vietnam when roaming was not as high as he thought. Moreover, the quality of the service was outstanding with fast connection and most importantly, it was very easy to use.
To meet customers’ demands, in the upcoming time, Viettel will continue to implement promotional programs for Roaming service to help customers fully enjoy their trips.
